Is your puppy ready for Social School?
We host small-group social sessions for dogs under 12 months to help develop confidence and manners. Trainer Chris Burke coaches puppies from inside our tree-shaded pen.
WHEN: Saturdays, 9am-12pm
WHERE: Riverside Park, Moruya. A few hundred metres behind Art Central.
COST: $20 per dog for 1 hour, including breaks.

Criteria: 10-16 weeks old | Maximum weight: 10kg
Breaks: every 5-7 minutes.
Focus: This session is all about paws-itive first impressions during this critical socialisation phase. We focus on building calm confidence through supervised play to help your puppy see the world, and the dogs in it, as being safe and friendly.

Criteria: 4 to 9 months | Maximum weight: 15kg
Breaks: every 10 minutes.
Focus: As puppies enter their 'teenage' phase, they start testing boundaries and play gets a bit rowdier. Our goal here is teaching social manners and impulse control, even when they’re excited.

Criteria: 4 to 12 months | Under 25kg (Group 1) Over 25kg (Group 2)
Breaks: every 10-15 minutes.
Focus: For older larger pups, we focus on managing high energy and physicality in a controlled environment. We help these big kids learn how to play without being overbearing or becoming socially overwhelmed.

Criteria: 9 to 24 months | Under 30kg
Breaks: every 15 minutes.
Focus: Our focus is on teaching the 'teenage brain' social impulse control and emotional regulation. We help these young adults learn how to switch off from high-intensity interactions and find their calm on cue.
